Dr. Mitchler conducts a quarterly educational lecture series for other dentists. He has served on the advisory board for KIDSNET, a non-profit organization that provides Sonoma County children access to dental care.

Dr. Mitchler grew up in Illinois and graduated from the University of Illinois, College of Dentistry. He was practicing in Healdsburg, CA for 15 years before moving to his new, expanded facility in Windsor in the spring of 2006. Dr. Mitchler lives with his two sons in Windsor.
