After almost 20 years of serving the Ventura community, we at Dr. Meier's HillView Dental Care (the office is at the foot of the famous Two Trees in Ventura), have found that most people have a pretty good idea of what they want in a dental office. First, they want to have the ultimate decision in what work is performed and to be given a reasonable estimate of the costs involved before treatment is initiated. Secondly, they want to know how long the treatments will take to complete, how much discomfort and lost time might occur and how long the services will last. Next, although none of us wish it to happen, people need to be seen promptly for emergencies and know that the office will see them at their appointed times. Finally, patients must be assured that the office takes the appropriate steps to ensure their safety by complying with any and all modern recommended sterilization techniques set forth in the ADA guidelines. We at Hill View Dental Care understand and practice these principles. This statement may seem a bit old fashioned, but rest assured that Greg and the staff are constantly bringing new and modern services like smile makeovers with Lumineers (an almost pain-free veneer created by Denmat) and Dental Implants to replace missing teeth without destruction of healthy teeth or to secure loose dentures (Mini Dental Implants by Imtek) into the practice.

History

Established in 1991.

Dr. Meier grew up in the San Fernando Valley, attended Taft High School and then went on to UCLA where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychobiology in 1984. He then attended the highly ranked UCLA Dental School and graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1988. After completing a brief Oral Surgery Rotation at UCLA Harbor Hospital, Dr. Meier worked for a few well-respected dentists then came to Ventura and has been operating there since 1992.
