We use a variety of tools, including the DIAGNOdent system, Wand® Computer Controlled Anesthetic System, and Tyler Sedation to provide you with a comprehensive examination and restorative experience. Dr. Stansbury is highly skilled in an array of preventive, cosmetic, and restorative services and encourages his team to also stay on top of the latest research.

Biography:

Ever since he was a child, Dr. Stansbury wanted to be a dentist. After graduating from Texas A&M University in 1971 and Baylor College of Dentistry in 1974 he started a practice in Tyler. Always fascinated with the ever-changing field of dentistry, Dr. Stansbury participates in a variety of continuing education courses throughout the year. He is also certified in Oral Conscious Sedation to make your visit more comfortable. Dr. Stansbury is an active member of several dental organizations, including the American Dental Association, the Ark-La-Tex Dental Society, the Texas Dental Association, and the Smith County Dental Society. It has been his honor to serve as 2010-2011 President of the ETDS 3d District President. In addition to dentistry, Dr. Stansbury volunteers his time with the American Diabetes Association, Give Kids a Smile Day and Susan B. Komen Race for the Cure. He participates in the Texas Mission of Mercy, where he provides his services to the under-served patients of East Texas. He previously served on the Board of Directors at the Discovery Science Place, a hands-on science museum for kids of all ages. He is married with three adult children and is the adoring grandfather of his precious granddaughters
