After immigrating to the US at the age of 3, and growing up in New York City, Dr. Daniel J. Lyu, DDS FAGD earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from New York University College of Dentistry in 2007 and completed a General Practice Residency at Lincoln Medical Center in the Bronx in 2008. Dr. Daniel J. Lyu, DDS FAGD has been in private practice ever since, focusing on comprehensive care for his patients. After selling his office in Westchester, NY, wanting to live closer to extended family, Dr. Daniel J. Lyu, DDS FAGD moved to the Phoenix area in the fall of 2020, and has been at this Tempe office since March 2021.

Pursuing to keep up with the latest developments in dentistry, Dr. Daniel J. Lyu, DDS FAGD attended multiple continuing education courses given at the Spear Institute and ZimmerBiomet, focusing on implantology and esthetics dental restorations. Dr. Daniel J. Lyu, DDS FAGD has completed 300 hours of education in the AAID maxi course at UNLV, and is pursuing certification in implantology. He has also earned the distinction of Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry in the Fall of 2022. Dr. Daniel J. Lyu, DDS FAGD is an active member of the American Dental Association, Arizona Dental Association, American Association of Implant Dentistry, and American Society of Forensic Odontology.

Outside the office, Dr. Daniel J. Lyu, DDS FAGD enjoys golf, fishing, and spending time outdoors with his wife, Jennifer and their two children, Alexander and Olivia.
