Matthew T. Scaffa, DDS. Dr. Matthew Thomas Scaffa graduated from New York University in 1985 with his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) and has been working as a dentist on Staten Island, NY, for nearly 30 years. Before attending dental school, he completed his Bachelor of Science in biochemistry at Stony Brook University. To ensure that he keeps abreast of emerging technologies and procedures in dentistry, Dr. Scaffa annually averages about 20 Continuing Education (CE) units. In addition, he is a member of the American Dental Association and the 2nd District Dental Society.
