Dr. Jose Hernandez-Gil has spent his career helping people in need, from big cities to remote areas across the United States. Early in his career, during the AIDS crisis, he was one of only 87 dentists in the country willing to treat HIV/AIDS patients. He worked in Boston, where many people came for care because no one else would treat them. He also worked in prisons and remote health centers, helping people with serious conditions like Hep C, AIDS, and tuberculosis.
He never stopped pursuing his passion for dentistry. His skills include pediatric care, prosthetics, oral surgery, implants, and routine dental work, allowing him to care for a wide variety of patient needs.
Dr. Hernandez-Gil continues to grow as a dentist through ongoing education and listening closely to his patients. He now focuses on physiologic dentistry, specializing in dental implants and restoring bite function to help with breathing, TMJ, migraines, and other breathing issues. His goal is to improve his patients' health and quality of life with the care he provides.
