Dr. Jacob DeVinney has the ultimate "patients" as he and his dental staff create magical smiles. He has moved to Pleasanton and has acquired Amador Dental & Orthodontic from Dr. Craig Sjoberg, who will shift from his current role at Amador Dental into retirement.

Upon six years of service in the U.S. Navy as a Hospital Corpsman and ENT surgical technician, careful consideration and a career shift beckoned Dr. DeVinney back to school. Graduating from Cal State University, Dominguez Hills, Summa Cum Laude, with a B.S. degree in Biology, he then earned his dental degree from Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry at USC.

Dr. DeVinney enjoys spending time with his family, and is always looking for ways to give back. He, his wife, a respected physician, and their two children, reside in Pleasanton. He is overwhelmed with the friendliness in Pleasanton, where folks gather together to celebrate their community and generally take care of one another. As a family-oriented town, Dr. DeVinney knows that this is the right place for his practice, and to raise his family.
