Dr. Maio has practiced dentistry with care and compassion for over 30 years, specifically tailored to meet his patients needs. Whether it be preventative care or a specific treatment, his office staff and associate dentists are committed to providing the highest quality dental care.

Dr. Maio has been providing quality care in all phases of dentistry to the local community since 1974. Prior to opening his practice in Lodi, New Jersey, he served as a Captain of the United States Army Dental Corps at Madigan General Hospital in Tacoma, Washington. While serving as head of Madigan's dental clinic, he received The Army Commendation Medal for Meritorious Service.

Prior to his service in the U.S. Army, Dr. Maiograduated from Temple University School of Dentistry (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) in 1970, where he was a member of the John A. KolmerHonorary Medical Society. He received his bachelor of science in Pre-Medical Studies at Seton Hall University (South Orange, New Jersey) in 1964.

Joseph Maio was born and raised in Lodi, New Jersey and returned to his hometown to practice General Dentistry after his service in the Army.Not only does Mr. Maio practice dentistry, but he also takes time to visit with students at schools throughout New Jersey to teach about the importance of dental health and preventative care.
