Dr. Chris's Background and Education

Dr. Chris's journey has taken him across the globe, thanks to his father's career with Mobil Oil Corporation. He attended high school in Leysin, Switzerland, and completed his senior year in Melbourne, FL, where he discovered his passion for flying. During his high school years, his family relocated to Indonesia, and eventually, his parents retired to Dallas.

Educational Journey

Dr. Chris pursued his undergraduate studies at Southern Illinois University, earning a B.A. in Physiology in 1975, followed by a B.S. in Dental Prosthetics and an A.A. in Dental Laboratory Technology in 1976. Before embarking on his graduate education, he ran a comprehensive dental laboratory for several years. In 1984, Dr. Chris graduated with a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the Washington University School of Dental Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri. His commitment to excellence in dental care motivated him to establish his own private practice. He also achieved fellowship status with the Academy of General Dentistry and is an active member of numerous esteemed dental organizations, including the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, West Coast Dental Association, Pinellas County Dental Association, and the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation (DOCS). Additionally, he is a member of Dental Sleep Solutions and the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine (AADSM).
