Dr. Ryan Bland was born and raised in Hannibal, Missouri. Growing up, Dr. Bland was fascinated with dentistry during his dental appointments. He had the opportunity to shadow several dentists during high school. During his shadowing experience, he found that dentistry is a combination of art and science, two of his greatest passions. His shadow experience solidified the fact that dentistry was his calling. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Biology from University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC). Dr. Bland continued his education at UMKC and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery. Dr. Bland remains up to date on the latest research through continuing education courses. He is also a member of the American Dental Association, Missouri Dental Association, and the Greater Kansas City Dental Society.

When he is not helping people achieve excellent oral health, he is spending time with his wife, Marissa (a Gladstone native), and daughters, Juliana (2) and Alina (1 month). They are excited to get connected as a family in the Northland and are proud to call the Northland home. Dr. Bland also enjoys cooking, playing pinball, watching documentaries on Netflix, and cheering for the Chiefs and the Royals.

Dr. Bland is passionate about forming a personal connection with each patient he encounters and enjoys all aspects of dentistry. His goal is to provide comfortable, quality dentistry to all of his patients. Dr. Bland looks forward to taking care of all of your dental needs.
