Biography:Dr. Franks earned his DDS from University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. His undergraduate work was completed at Texas A&M University in College Station. Having grown up in the Rio Grande Valley, he returned to establish his private, family dental practice in Harlingen in 1976. Dr. Franks was awarded the honor of Fellowship from the Academy of General Dentistry and has also been presented with the prestigious Kenneth D. Rudd award for the professional achievement of participating in more than 400 hours of continuing education. His many additional hours of studies set him apart as a well respected dentist in the Harlingen and greater Texas area. He is a member of Christian Fellowship Church, and he and his wife, Beverly, have two married daughters. They are proud grandparents of five, as well.
