Dr. Bass is a Gastonia native and grew up learning theimportance of a healthy smile as she is a daughter of a dentist.

Dr. Bass acquired her Bachelors of Science at Duke University where she majored in Psychology and Biology.

She has worked for the Clinical Neuropsychology Service at Duke Medical Center for four years prior to pursuing her career in dentistry. Dr. Bass acquired her degree in Doctor of Dental Surgery with honors from the University of North Carolina. She then went on to complete a General Practice Residency at the University of North Carolina Hospitals in Chapel Hill, which she served as Chief Resident. Dr. Bass is an Academy of General Dentistry member, the American Dental Association, the Gaston Grins Spear Study Club, and the North Carolina Dental Society.
