Dave grew up in Minnesota but has called Colorado Springs home since he began practicing dentistry here in 1984. He conducted his undergraduate studies at Andrews University in Michigan and received his Doctor of Dental Studies (DDS) from the prestigious Loma Linda University in Southern California where he was 3rd in his class. He has continued to study throughout his career for Spear Education in Scottsdale, Arizona.

During 2001, Dave relocated his office to Brook Park Drive. With a larger office and experienced staff, he is able to accommodate more patients while still spending time with each patient in the relaxed atmosphere. Dave has been married 33 years and is the proud father of three adult children - two girls and one boy. He enjoys being outdoors in nature and photographing it. You will see some of his photos displayed throughout the office and in the media presentations. Dave is also an avid hiker and in August of 2004 achieved his personal goal of reaching the top of each of the 54 Colorado fourteeners!
