Dr. Platt's scope of specialties ranges from sedation to cosmetic dentistry, from general and pediatric dentistry in Colorado Springs, CO. Jeffery C. Platt, DDS is a compassionate Colorado Springs dentist who provides general, cosmetic, and sedation dentistry. Dr. Platt is a graduate of the University of Missouri at Kansas City School of Dentistry. He has additional education in orthodontics, restorative implants, and implant surgery. Dr. Platt attended Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah.
Dr. Platt has enjoyed working with the Boy Scouts of America since he received his Eagle scout award as a teenager. He currently is a scoutmaster for a local troop and his sons are also working on or have completed their Eagle scout award. He and his family enjoy hiking and camping, soccer, basketball and skiing. His older children are attending a variety of colleges working towards completing degrees from Nutrition and Dietetics to Dentistry. Dr. Platt has been married to his wonderful wife since 1985 and together they have 7 children.
Dr. Platt enjoys teaching other dentists how to do some of the procedures he does in the office. He lectures regularly with Hiossen Dental Implant company teaching dentists how to use implants and how to preform the surgical and restorative part of implant dentistry. He also currently teaches about a variety of bone grafting procedures prior to placing implants.
