Dr. John grew up with his brother, Ted, in the Birmingham area. He graduated summa cum laude from Birmingham-Southern College with a degree in computer science before receiving a D.M.D. with honors from the University of Alabama School of Dentistry, where he also met and married fellow graduate, Dr. Wendy. He received a Certificate in Advanced Education in General Dentistry from the University of Mississippi Medical Center School of Dentistry in 2005.
In 2005, Dr. John moved to the McCalla area, and started McCalla Dental with his brother, Ted. Their vision was to create a dental practice that would benefit the community and the patients.
Dr. John's professional interests in dentistry include blending technology with patient care and comfort. He continually seeks advances in dental technology to make sure we are providing our patients the best in care for services such as digital radiography, dental anesthesia, and digital impressions. Additionally, Dr. John is one of a few General Practitioners who has achieved Preferred status with Invisalign.
Dr. John and his wife, Dr. Wendy, both work at McCalla Dental. They have two beautiful daughters at home. Dr. John enjoys spending his free time outdoors, usually in the backyard gardening and landscaping.
