Dr. Gaball was raised in Michigan's Upper Peninsula in the town of Marquette. He graduated from Northern Michigan University receiving a Bachelor of Science degree. Dr. Gaball earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Michigan, School of Dentistry. He served as a dentist in the United States Army at the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York.

Dr. Gaball is committed to remaining current with the latest advances in dentistry. He and his staff participate in many study groups and educational forums so that they can provide the best care for you. Dr. Gaball and his staff also keep current by maintaining memberships with associations such as the American Dental Association, the Michigan Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Chicago Dental Society, and the Detroit District Dental Society. He has completed many post-graduate programs in the areas of esthetic dentistry, orthodontics, restorative dentistry, Endodontics and others.

He has earned the prestigious Fellowship and Mastership Awards in the Academy of General Dentistry. The Mastership Award is the highest honor available in the AGD. To earn this award, Dr. Gaball completed 1,100 hours of continuing dental education in the 16 disciplines of dentistry including 400 hours dedicated to hands-on skills and techniques. In addition, he took and passed the rigorous examination in the 16 disciplines.

Dr. Gaball is married and he and his wife Linda have three children. He enjoys reading, traveling, photography and participates in endurance sports including triathlons.
