Dr. Rahman grew up in the Bronx and attended the SUNY School of Dental Medicine, graduating with his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2000. His spent his first 5 years as a dentist in New York, working in a hospital and overseeing attendees. He then spent 6 years in Syracuse before coming to Alexandria in 2011.
His professional affiliations include the Academy of General Dentistry and the International Dental Implant Association.
As a family dentist, Dr. Rahman has exposed himself to extra training in the areas of dental implant therapy and Invisalign orthodontics. He says, "I truly want to be a partner in my patients' oral health; focusing on treating oral infections, restoring function and appearance." After working as an associate dentist in private practice for several years, Dr. Rahman purchased an existing private practice and relocated it to establish what is now Vanguard Dental Solutions.
