Dr. La Vigne has experience in a wide range of dental procedures. He is thorough yet with a gentle touch. He and his staff emphasize excellent communication regarding diagnosis, treatment planning and financial matters. In addition to great verbal skills, patient education is accomplished with use of videos, photos, models, demonstrations, written instructions and diagrams. Dr. La Vigne has established a reputation for a sensible approach and a high level of integrity.
When considering major treatment, he will explain your options and recommend the most reliable and best value. He performs cosmetic procedures including Whitening, tooth shade restorations of all types, use of braces and other appliances. Dr. La Vigne prefers to do esthetic dentistry that is as conservative and reliable as possible and which has long lasting and realistic looking results.
Dr. La Vigne’s staff is very knowledgeable and attentive. The office protocol for safety and infection control is truly meant to protect everyone all of the time. You will see that much care and thoughtfulness is displayed when we wear our scrubs, gloves, etc. and the way that we handle supplies and equipment.
Dr. La Vigne has over 30 years of experience since graduating Northwestern Dental School. He has attended numerous advanced training courses since then. He continues to improve his facility and blends new technology with proven traditional methods. He has learned much from others and also developed some of his own techniques.
This is truly a family practice seeing patients from age” two – ninety-two”. Most of our patients fit one of the following situations:
1.'tab' Seen regularly for exam and cleanings after completing (or not needing any) treatment.
2.'tab' Currently in active treatment (anywhere from a few preventive and conservative procedures though a very complex course of dental restoration).
3.'tab' Relatively new to our office after transferring for any reason.
4.'tab' Coming to see us after not being a frequent dental patient, for several or even many years.

A.'tab' A routine exam and cleaning.
B.'tab' A comprehensive exam and x-rays followed by consultation.
C.'tab' A limited consultation to briefly check a specific problem or simply to see if we can work together and help you.
D.'tab' An emergency visit to check or actually treat a condition that you just need taken care of ASAP.
